Wisdom, Patience, & Divine Design

I am a perfectionist, and the spirit of pride seeps from the pores of my skin, traits I've always disliked. From my earliest memories, I've felt the relentless pressure to excel in everything I do. I would methodically groom myself in front of the bathroom mirror for hours, ensuring every detail from the top of my head to the soles of my shoes was flawless. I believed I was invincible, untouchable by any challenge or setback.

However, as I matured into adulthood, I realized the futility of this mindset. Upon reaching the age of 57 in January 2024, I've only begun to grasp the true essence of my life's journey and how to align it with the divine principles of the Most High. For many of us, true wisdom and fulfillment only come in our sixth decade of life, the so-called golden years. Throughout the years, we've stumbled through countless mistakes, navigated through foolish decisions, and ultimately earned the badge of patience.

To those who walk in the shadow of King Solomon's wisdom, you may be spared some of the consequences of recklessness. Remember, wisdom is of the greatest importance, and patience is the guiding virtue that leads to love and enlightenment. Beside the throne of the Most High lies this wisdom and is freely bestowed upon those who seek it, all you have to do is ask him for it.

The enemy will entice many to believe lies rather than the truth. Amid the great falling away, there exists a thin line between sin and salvation. Consequently, numerous believers will grow weary and stray from the teachings of the Most High. Under the guise of inclusion, it becomes imperative to discern between what is good and what is evil. Therefore let us imitate the works of the Messiah as we prepare for his return in unwavering faith and gratitude.

In John9:4, we're reminded of our purpose: 'I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day, the night cometh when no man can work.' This scripture illuminates our role as modern-day disciples, entrusted with spreading the light of our Messiah and embodying the truth. In a world filled with darkness and wickedness, it's essential for us to shine brightly, revealing the path of righteousness. Despite the prevalence of negativity portrayed in the media, we must remember that there are more of us who walk in the ways of goodness than those who choose otherwise. Let this truth serve as encouragement, motivating us to continue our journey with faith and resolve.

Find contentment in your current place in life, knowing that you are exactly where you're meant to be. Whatever tasks lie before you, tackle them with full determination. Remember, with great blessings come great responsibilities. Ephesians5:15-17 Be very careful then how you live, not as unwise but wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Most High will is.

Understanding the will of the Most High requires nurturing a deep relationship with Him. Through this relationship, you can learn to discern His voice amidst the noise of the world. The foundation of this relationship lies in studying His word, as it serves as His voice speaking to us. Thus, by immersing oneself in His teachings, one can establish a stronger connection with the divine and gain clarity on His will.

In conclusion, it's imperative for us, as modern-day disciples of the way (Christians), to illuminate the path in the midst of darkness. This means remaining fruitful and steadfastly rejecting conformity to the ways of the world. We must actively resist the inclusion of delusional ideologies and instead advocate for a culture rooted in wholesomeness and morality. By doing so, we uphold the principles of our faith and contribute to a brighter, more righteous world.
